Imagine stepping into a pivotal role where you're the independent driver behind opening new medical clinics across the country. Your day involves orchestrating a complex ballet of planning, design, construction, and compliance. You'll be the expert who ensures every new CareATC facility is perfectly ready – from selecting the ideal property and managing tenant improvements to ensuring all medical equipment is in place and every regulation is met. You'll lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and proactively solve challenges, knowing your work directly enables thousands to access vital healthcare.
What You’ll Do:
- Independently lead and drive all assigned implementation projects, with the clear intention of successfully opening and transitioning new medical clinics.
- Autonomously manage several related projects, overseeing everything from site assessment and design concepts to construction, renovations, and final inspections.
- Ensure physical clinic readiness, regulatory compliance (ADA, OSHA, fire safety), and site setup of new CareATC facilities.
- Proactively identify and resolve program issues and risks, taking ownership of project resources and directly controlling budget activities for on-time and accurate completion.
- Gather and clarify client requirements, aligning them with CareATC services and conducting thorough site assessments to determine project and facility needs.
- Drive seamless coordination with cross-functional teams (clinical, operations, IT, facilities vendors, landlords, contractors, and design professionals) to ensure timely and accurate implementation and site readiness.
- Oversee property selection and evaluation processes, including due diligence, lease review, and negotiation coordination with legal and real estate teams.
- Secure and maintain all necessary permits, licenses, and certificates of occupancy required for assigned healthcare facility operations.
- Manage FF&E, medical, and office equipment, participating in installation at assigned locations for operational readiness.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required. PMP certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, demonstrating an ability to independently manage multiple, time-sensitive projects from discovery to completion.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading healthcare-related projects, including directly managing the openings of new healthcare facilities with significant hands-on involvement in facility design, tenant improvements, and operational readiness.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience autonomously handling complex, ambiguous, and rapidly evolving tasks and environments in a healthcare organization, specifically relating to facilities operations and project oversight.
- Experience in commercial real estate processes, including property selection, lease negotiation support, and tenant improvement projects.
- Familiarity with occupational health, primary care, and lab medical equipment, as well as general building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), and IT networking infrastructure.
- Worksite Health experience is a major plus!
- Strong Project Management Skills: You independently lead project efforts, prioritize tasks autonomously, and deliver timely results.
- Process-Oriented and Strategic: You employ a structured approach to problem-solving and strategic planning, often developing new processes for both project management and facilities operations.
- Proven Track Record: You demonstrate a history of self-driven, successful project delivery and achieving business objectives.
- Knowledge of Facilities Regulations: Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and healthcare facility compliance requirements (e.g., ADA, OSHA, fire codes).
- Understanding of interior design concepts, space planning principles, and FF&E sourcing and purchasing processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
And Just as Important…
- Your ability to independently lead and drive complex projects from concept to successful completion.
- Your strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, essential for collaborating with diverse teams, vendors, and clients.
