CareATC is looking for an independent and driven Medical Assistant for a full-time opportunity at the LG&E-AOC, providing Occupational Heath with some primary care services! This opportunity is a full-time, benefit eligible position, providing direct patient care in a health care setting,This role will require travel to other area clinics, Mileage is reimbursed between sites. There are no nights or weekends!!

Hours: 40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Occupational Health experience is Preferred

About This Opportunity: CareATC is currently looking for a Medical Assistant to work collaboratively with the staff providers at LG&E-AOC, Occupational Health and Primary Care offices, as well as onsite services at LG&E Plant Clinic Locations. In an effort to provide exceptional patient/client satisfaction, the Medical Assistant will assist in daily administrative activities, performing Occupational Testing and assisting the provider with all patient visits.

The role of the Medical Assistant:

• Clerical responsibilities, appointment scheduling, office call/fax handling
• Greet patients, perform vitals.
• Performs work up for physical exams, patient triage, assisting/follow up with PFT, EKG, and Audiograms as needed.
• Exhibit good clinical judgement within the scope of the role with or without the provider present.
• Follow all clinical and clerical protocols per company policy.
• Must be willing to travel to onsite clinic locations (no overnight stay required)
